How to reach us

BY AIR

There is a wide choice of carriers from the UK to Spanish airports including British Airways, EasyJet, Ryanair and Monarch. Madrid and Malaga are about the same distance away from La Sierra de las Villas. From within Spain, Granada is the closest airport. Please call us if you would like some help in organising your journey.

BY TRAIN/BUS

You will need to get a train to Linares-Baeza or a bus to Ubeda, Cazorla or Villacarrillo. We can arrange transfer from the train at Linares-Baeza or the bus. Please contact us for further information and the present transfer fee.

BY CAR

Enter Cazorla as the end destination if you are using a satellite navigation system or a route planner. Then follow the directions below from Cazorla to reach La Nava del Milano. Otherwise:

From MADRID
Take the motorway/autovia to Andalucia. Turn off to UBEDA (via VILCHES) at LA CAROLINA. On arrival in Ubeda, follow the directions to VILLACARRILLO/ALBACETE. Just before TORREPEROGIL turn right to CAZORLA and follow the directions below.

From MALAGA
Take the motorway/autovia to GRANADA. Continue in the direction of JAÉN. The easiest and most picturesque route is via IZNALLOZ. About half an hour from Granada turn right towards IZNALLOZ, then continue to GUADALHORTUNA, JODAR, PEAL DE BECERRO and then CAZORLA. Then follow the directions below.

From CAZORLA:

• At the entrance to CAZORLA (Hotel Don Carlos) turn left to Santo Tomé.
• When you reach the petrol station MEROIL turn right to CHILLUÉVAR. (5 kms)
• At the entrance to CHILLUÉVAR there is a bar 'Meson de la Cabaña.'
• From there you can see a mirror, with a sign below to the 'Cementerio Municipal'.
• Turn left here and go up the hill.
• Keep going up for about 7 kms.
• Turn right at the end of the road to the Embalse del Aguascebas. (7 kms)
• Cross the dam and continue up the hill to the school at la FRESNEDILLA.
• There is a milestone 22kms just before the school.
• Third turning left, past the school, there is a sign to La Nava del Milano. (700 mts)
• Turn left. This is a dirt track (1 km) which could be difficult for ordinary cars. We can pick you up if necessary. Telephone us (953 128290) from Chilluévar.
